MiJ attempts to inject some inspiration into his gaming life

Post by me_in_japan » Fri Jun 22, 2012 2:20 pm

So, in light of my recent feelings of "meh, 40k..." Ive decided to be sensible and attempt to relight my fire when it comes to eldar n whatnot. To facilitate this, I decided to review what I had.

Here's what I have...

Image

and a bigger view, should you wish to zoom in...(this un's about 3.2mb, and if you want to actually view it in all its glory, you have to click the "download" icon under the pic. Its hard to find a photo hosting site that lets you display really hi res pics, btw.)

plus a revenant titan (currently in bits), 10 Corsairs (guardians + FW bits) and 18 other miscellaneous eldar (mostly old, RT harlequins and gun crew)

I think they do look rather nice when laid out like that, and tbch I'm tempted to finish up the fire dragons. The lay-em-out-and-ogle trick seems to be working. We shall see what happens...

That looks like quite an impressive collection you have there. As you use Fire Dragons in every game, they are a good choice to get finished up, especially since they are a small unit.

Ganbatte!!! :D

It never ceases to amaze me that the fire dragons left such an impression that people see them when they aren't even there. I haven't used fire dragons for something like 2 years. In fact, not since sometime before Naghammer a couple years ago, actually. (the one where I brought my eldar. Which did not include fire dragons, y'all might recall... ) Granted, I haven't used my eldar much at all since then, but when I have, it's been more unorthodox lists, as I recall.

Impressive army, nice terrain.

I usually use imgur.com for image hosting, though I have my own web server I can use as well.

Soon, but not just yet. I need to think a bit on what to do with him.
