What Antivirus software do you use (if any)?

Like the title suggests, Im interested to hear what antivirus software folks are running. I use BitDefender and its giving me serious gyp. Really annoying periodic slowdown, and the icing on the cake was today when I tried to upload a book to Blurb (a POD site), the blurb software couldnt connect cos BitDefender wouldnt let it. When I checked the site for the solution, BitDefender.com said nuffink, and Blurb.com said "if youre running BitDefender, you cant upload your books. You cant turn off BitDefender either. The only thing for it is to upload from a different computer."

I've read a number of complaints from BitDef users on their own forums, and basically their tech support seem very disinterested.

The above (constant annoying slowdown + current vexation re. book publishing) lead to me to consider an alternative AntiVirus solution.

Any suggestions?

AVG is what I use. In 8+ years that I have been using, I've had zero problems

Me too. AVG all the way. Its free, very useful and doesnt do anything I dont want it to.

I've been using Avast for the last few years. It works fine for me.

Not using anything since switching to Linux but when I was using Windows I used Avast. I tried both that and AVG. I preferred Avast.
