Wrong. Silly Prim. You should watch more sports :D

The winners, Spain, lost to Switzerland in pool play.

Liverpool are worthy of revulsion and spite.

Arsene Wenger is possibly the most annoying man to ever grace the EPL. And he looks like a paedophile.

Norwich have the Stephen Fry seal of approval so are alright in The Spevna's book.

As for not liking Chelsea, dong worry too much. When you grow up you might be able to appreciate them. ;)

Your ability to read the previous post and rephrase it is impressive ;)

And yet they weren't 'the winners.' Mind you, I can't really see a team of supremacists being handed the trophy. ;)

The Spevna is correct, as is his parrot, the Madmiral :D

BTW in NZ even the most hard-core PC advocates don't have a problem with our national sports teams being called the 'All Blacks' and the 'All Whites'.

@spevna: I 'spose only an 'adult' can appreciate the merits of a bunch of overpaid mercenaries and their mad as a hatter Russian owner. By the way, has Torres broken his cherry yet? :D :D :D

He is not mad, just 'eccentric' :?

£50,000,000 is a mighty big cherry. He has scored but nowhere near what he should have.

Liverpool! That's who the locals support down in North Devon for some reason. We are too far from Exeter to care. I think it must have been the page of the Pannini sticker album that got completed first.
My mate broke his hand when they were beat by Chelsea in recent years and he ended up punching the table in the pub. He has a metal hand now, and he is a Carpenter. :)
I like football to play (at break time) and watch(when there is a good game on, don't follow it that well)
Watching: karate, boxing, WWF circa 1990.
Play tennis, golf, running and speed painting.

I might add that womens Volleyball in Japan totally kicks ass and is always good to watch. Kimura Saori is my favourite player although she has made a mess of her hair in recent games. :P

Seeing a sports thread on a wargames forum reminds me of this episode of IT Crowd. Love it

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
