I dare say an organ is a more appropriate instrument for a Vampire ;)

Oh, I am flattered. It has nothing to do with the fact that I'm oriental... Oh no, I said it. oriental!!!

@koijibear: oh but you see, the beauty of the Yamaha p120 stage piano is that it comes with organ selection. ..well organ being jazz organ and not the more fitting pipe organ. But it also has harpsichord too, but it's not very good.

Actually, I was referring to the fact that you dress like a scruff :D

And you mind your language young man. We'll have no suggestions of ethnicity on these forums, by 'eck.

Geographically speaking, Koji and I are the most Oriental of anyone on this forum. :D

Though in artistic terms, i.e. Western Europe's fascination with 'Orientalism', I believe Spevna is the only true example on this forum. ;)

I mean the UK still has a school of Oriental and African studies.

IMHO it's a quaint, archaic term, more likely to cause derision of the person who uses it rather than any cutting slur.

Mind you, anyone who uses the terms "Boogie woogie and other such bluesy funkadoodles." is probably the type who sits on his verandah, sipping tea with pinky extended, cucumber sandwiches at hand, all the while grumbling beneath his breath about 'Damnable Foreigners' and so forth. :D :D :D

I demand that you withdraw that libelous remark at once, Pikey!

I don't have a verandah, and you know it.

Change that from cucumber sandwiches to haggis in the case of our Caledonian friend...

I salute you sir. Now let me get back to my perusal of the latest SOAS journal while wearing my fez, puffing on my hookah, twiddling my exceptionally curly moustache, and indulging in thoughts of "camel bothering ".
