Anthrax (The Band!!!) - Worship Music
\nn/ ANTHRAX \nn/
Finally, after 8 years and 3 singers, Anthrax is releasing an album of all new material. If you hadn't heard, It's due out on the 13th of September, in the States at least, and I assume Japan won't be far behind. They even brought back Joey on vocals. I can hardly wait.
Then to cap a pretty damn good year (for me anyways) Anthrax will be playing Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya in December. It will definitely be a wohsnikufesin. I intend to be there, front and centre at the Nagoya show.
What about y'all!

I have definitely come round to Danguinius' way of thinking on Anthrax, so would have to recommend their album 'Among the Living'. It's a contemporary of 'Master of Puppets'. Check out 'I am the Law' about Judge Dredd and 'Caught in a Mosh', in which the drummer is hitting 480 BPM on his snare!!!!!

Re: Anthrax (The Band!!!) - Worship Music
hmmn. I did a bit (a liitle bit) of listening, and while I think it could grow on me, it's nooooot quite doing it for me. I think it comes very very close to being my kinda thing, but the singer's voice lacks impact for me. A bit too "oooOOOAAAAAAAAAAh" school of metal for my tastes. (yes, I know. Dragonforce fan. hypcrites-r-us. Different kind of metal.) Also, they seem to favour speed and riffage over melody, which isnt really my thing. I'm more of a melody-riffage man, meself.
Still, not bad. I'll probably find myself listening to them more, and in 6 months or so wonder why I thought what Im thinking now![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

I always liked their album 'The sound of white noise'. I saw Beady Eye with Keiko at Nagoya Zepp last week, it was great, we were very close to the band as only 1000 or so capacity.
Maiden last month in London, Beady Eye twice in a month in Japan and then Anthrax, can I take it?
NFL Nice Fu%&ing life!
I'll give it some serious thought Pikey, what venue are they playing?

Sorry Ash me 'ole China. The gig is on December 16th at Diamond Hall in Shinsakae, Nagoya. I'm going and so is Danguinius. It's gonna be fantastic. If you can you should try and make it. That goes for any other metal fans out there. Grim Ironjaw?
