The two on the far right look like elves in disguise if you ask me. :D

Oh for the love of all that is right and good, that group of sorry dwarves looks like a bunch of gnomes, only slightly err...taller  And I agree with Prim about the two elven spies at the end - though they could be half-dwarves. Is there such a thing?

Hmm...yeah Gloin and Oin are definitely dwarvish, I'll have to admit that, but they just get obscured by all the other muppets ;)

I fucking hate this 3D bollocks! 8-)

Thorin looks like a right wanker too! Making my decision not to watch it as of now, don't care how good it is I don't want it ruined. Such a good book. LOTR movies were awesome. Balls to 3D. It was never good even in the 50s. :)

I'm with you. But I assume they will release it in both 3D and 2D (as was the last Harry Potter movie).

Martin Freeman looks very hobbity, Gandalf is suitably wizardy, Elrond is suitably elfy. Looks like the same loving attention to detail too.

who's a cranky boy today, then :D

Personally, I'm feeling a good deal better about this film than I was when I first saw the dwarves poster. I quite like 3D, as long as it doesnt become the point of the film, which in this case it cant possibly do, cos of the point of this film being that it's The Hobbit. The hi-res and hi frame rate thing will be interesting to see. I wonder if it will be noticeable to regular schmucks like me...
