Know your enemy...

Someone on BOLS dug up this GW corporate promotion video. It's a bit dated, judging by the some of the info presented, but interesting nonetheless. It did make me wonder however, how such a slick operation with all sorts of QC in place let the Failcast(TM) fiasco happen.
Enjoy (or not)...

that must be a world record for! I've never heard the word 'quality' so many times in such a short space of time.

What's the old saying? Repeat a lie often enough and you'll start to believe its true.

Has anybody noticed how good Badruck is at 40k recently and how popular he is? Incidentally, I think that the wolf quality of Games Wolfshop is wolfing good quality.

I'm impressed with how GW continues to employ and operate within its native location. Particularly after seeing those images of their facilities, I can understand their pricing. It has got to take a lot of dough to keep manufacturing in the UK. It almost makes me want to purchase their goods, but they've still got to work on their rule writing and the way they seem stay aloof from their customers' concerns.
Good find, Mike.

Interesting to see the ins and outs of the factory set up. Still not enough to make me feel that the prices are justified. I would be curious to see if this was ore or post shitecast. Would be pretty audacious to rabbit on about quality if it was made after.

Hmmm. That's a fairly substantial operation they've got going on there. I can kiiiiiiiinda see where my money goes. Still in the dark as to why us Japanese customers have to pay double what everyone else pays, mind you...
Makes me wonder, tho. Vids such as this actually endear GW to me (only a little, but it's there) Why do GW not make such info more readily available. Y'know, kinda "yeah, we know our stuff is dang pricey. Here's why..." A bit of transparency would go a long way...
