Cherry blossom in spring

No, not in Japan. This is one of the trees outside my front window:
My photography skills aren't the best, and I've left it a bit late, but it's still very pretty. The fallen petals have turned the gutters a lovely pink colour, too.

I am a fan of the Shidare Zakura - the weeping cherry blossom.

Nice. Is that actually a sakura tree? Those flower clumps resemble a tree at a temple down the road from me.

I'm not so much looking at the tree as the sky behind it. It's blue, ye gads! Has there been some kind of climate shift and nobody told me?

Dave, I was at a wargames show that day so as is traditional, the weather was gorgeous.
