Job hunting, keep you ears open

I got word today that my contract will not be renewed for next year. Given the timing and the Needless to say, I7m in a world of hurt this late in the season to start hunting. So if anyone hears of a job that maybe I could do, please pass it my way

Sorry to hear it, man, but remeber you are hundred times in a better position compared to this time last year. You'll pull through.

Kojibear just posted about a part time University gig once a week. Check the threads. It's not full time but might be a nice way in in the long term. I'm finding part time more lucrative than full time recently so you might want to check the companies in Fushimi for business classes. It's not secure though and there is no holiday and sick pay. If you can muster at least 20 hours a week with the standard industry rate of 4000 en per hour with travel paid it's definitely worth doing while you work out something more concrete for the future. Gambatte buddy.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Well theinterviews are going well. Got one job offer on the table. A private jhs/shs in Yokkaichi

Ah, ok. They're one of our buddies. There are 3 catholic schools in Mie - maryknoll, kaisei and saint joe's. I shall doubtless be seeing you at the various speech contests in the coming year :) (assuming you take the job, oc)
