@Pikey - Thanks to Trumps sanctions, my coal from North Korea was detained at customs this year.

Well, I had a fun day of playing Bolt Action, with a break in the middle for a traditional Christmas Indian Curry. Good times!

Merry Xmas everyone! I spent the 25th teaching eiken to indifferent students (can’t blame them, who wants to be at school when regular lessons have ended?). We did an approximation of the yuletide dinner today after work, but other festive stuff such as present unwrapping was mainly taken care of on Xmas Eve. The boys had a grand time on Sunday especially, and much fine cheese, gingerbread and...Cocoichiban curry was consumed. Now the floor is populated by Playmobil knights and Peppa Pig figurines, and there’s a nice new stack of books to get through at bedtime. Happy days.
Let’s hope all our hobby wishes come true for this coming year. I just hope to play slightly more and paint anything at all this year. All the best!

No more negative spiraling thoughts despite the intolerable dark mornings and evenings.

Join a gym and/or Sidmouth running club at the Sailing Club.

Carry on with no drinking except on special occasions.

Get weight down to 13 stone.

Cut back on social media.

Paint more.

Read more.
