Looks to be a better selection than Yodobashi has (which was just starter and easy build kits last I checked) - no clue on whether they'll offer a discount or do special orders, though.

Yellow Submarine is nearby too, with a similar sized shelf. I wonder how much similarity there will be in their stock.

Is that other shop in Nagoya still open, the one out in the suburbs?

I believe Merchen is still carrying GW stuff, but they're a classic "old, dusty, crowded shop that looks like they're out of business at first glance from the street," so I'd never be surprised to hear that they closed up. There's the shop in Ichinomiya I've been going to as well.

We really should do an amalgamated "where to get hobby stuff locally" thread, especially with GW making a concerted push into the plastic model market.

It does look like there's a pretty standard selection - Joshin's looks pretty similar to Yodobashi's, but with a bit more extra stuff beyond the paint rack and starter / easy build kits.
