Liam desu

Post by ashmie » Thu Apr 26, 2012 12:15 pm

Liam Laycock Goto has arrived! 2600 grams thereabouts. Not sure the conversion to pounds and oz.
He is healthy and looks like a bit of a bruiser but other than that bright eyed and bushy tailed. He looks like a white Japanese man, very unique looking and will be a character I feel. Breast feeding will be attempted tomorrow either by Keiko or me if all else fails.
We were in the hospital a good 26 hours before he was born. Keiko was in labour from 10am until 7pm. We will stay in the hospital en suite room for the week now. He was born at 7:04am 26th April.
Photos to follow folks.

Thanks for all your love and support thus far.

Please be gentle with us.

Ash, Keiko and the baby.

PS: As Vic Reeves used to say "Got any booze f'baby". :D

yay! big up congratulations to the Laycock posse :D

Well done, mate. (and Keiko, too, of course.)

Kaz says to say "otsukaresama" and "Yukkurishite, ne" to Keiko, btw.

I'll be a-comin' round at an opportune time in the near future with congratulatory nappy bags n whatnot :)

Well done Sir.
Congrats to you and your wife.

@Spev: No alcohol for t'baby? How do you get baby to sleep without half a shot of whiskey in t'bottle? It also makes the adjustment to laudanum easier when they grow up a little. ;)

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. We came home yesterday and are glad to be past the hospital week. No sleep now until his first game of Talisman I'm guessing. Better order him some dice for when he's older.
