I think it is the fact that many people work on Saturday and that you can't play on Sundays very often.
Those are the reasons I don't play you. I would live to get in more games with you.

Hey, I'm making my second trip to Ogaki next week, remember. :) Your event a few months ago was a big hit too.

Thanks for saying thank you guys. Although I must think about it, vanity wise if I'm putting events on to get praise them I'm probably doing it for the wrong reasons. :D
I would just hate it if people dreaded playing me and didn't let me know. Assure me you will tell me or anyone else if anything comes up. I mean we are grown men who play WH for crying out loud. Glass houses and all that, nobody is perfect. Water under the bridge I hope everyone can get along better or if that doesn't work, it's a pity, but at the very least avoid playing people or gaming styles that seem like hard work. ;) This last option isn't for me but I'm sure I'll meet my nemesis someday.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Not sure what I am doin wrong I must be the biggest duche bag in the group.

@The Madmiral: Actually I think it's a a bit of both.
No, seriously, Summer Hols are coming up, could be a good time for another battle up in Ogaki or down here in Toyohashi.

Those are the reasons I don't play you. I would liveto get in more games with you.
@Spevna: Can we deduce from the above statement that one of the reasons is because you are dead? :(

seconded. :) And same to Spev, Badruck, and pretty much everybody else on this forum.

Also, it's good to know that folks would, in general, prefer us all to be up front with things if we feel our opponent is being an asshat. Honesty makes life a lot simpler, I've generally found. I had only suggested a bit o tact as I know different folks have differing levels of what they consider "honest" and "rude". Personally, I'm in the would-much-rather-know-what-folk-think camp, so fully approve of the no-BS attitude folks have suggested.

Back OT...

In an ideal world we would only have great/fun/gentlemanly opponents to play against, however that is seldom the reality even in a much larger gaming group. On top of this, in a community as small as ours it is hard to avoid people who's gaming style/personality/t-shirt slogan/body odour don't exactly jive with one's own ideas.

Surely, a real gentleman would show some stiff upper lip and just get on with it. No need to pretend to be best mates but no need to be unpleasant to each other either. I mean I can't stand the 'fragrance' of some of the Ork players on this board but I still exchange pleasantries with them (all the while praying to the powers that be that they stand downwind throughout our encounter, however long it may be).

When did this board become such a low-context cultural environment? Are we Germans all of a sudden? :D
