Maybe we could get in a game next month. My mom's going to be visiting Japan for a few weeks, meaning I have a free babysitter for a while. :D

Thanks Ten, I'm still struggling with my love/hate thing of the hobby so I might need to give it a bit more time. I would love to play sometime though when I've thawed out a bit more and you are free. Do you play just fantasy or 40k too?

No rush. :) Fantasy is my favorite but I play both. I have a Space Wolf army I'm working on.

I'm up for some 40k, as having recently bought the rulebook I'm actually feeling far more positive towards the game than I have done in a loooooong time. I'm also local, so that makes life easier, too. Maybe we could sneak in a game some evening or other. Probly a weekend evening, but my point is it wouldn't need to be an all-day-trip-to-Nagoya-plus-booze affair. If it helps, I don't know the rules yet, either :)

Oh, and for what it's worth, I think your decision to choose 2 games (both popular) and play nowt else for a year is a very sound idea indeed. Im much the same (technically Malifaux makes 3, but I play it so rarely it hardly counts)

I think your focus on two games is wise. I'm of course a little sorry to see FOW and WHFB didn't make the cut, but a guy's got to do what a guy's gotta do. I think your focus is very wise and admirable and I think it'll pay dividends for you. I've kind of done the same jettisoning 40k until the new CSM/DA book(s) are out... Oh... well, I'll see how long I hold out. I wish you better on following out your plan. :D

(Maybe only very relaxed BP-esque games of FOW or WHFB in foreseeable future? Ah, don't let me tempt you away from your plan either.) ;)

That's a nice pic. Is that your own work?

The main colourful unit is courtesy of Blue Table painting, the main guy in the foreground is mine. The other models are a mixture of mine and Javier's. I put this together as a small group to inspire me to paint the rest myself. Just needed that boost and help form other painters to get the army off the ground and on the bench.

I actually like your model the most, but I think you got pretty nice quality from Blue Table, at least they look better then the model Koji received.

I like the pose, too. :D Muster roll call, drill and a cheer for the Master of the City!

How come you are selling your Ultra Marines on Ebay of you are sticking with 40K? Or have you got another 40K army?
