Re: NagoyaHammer 2020 - May 9th & 10th
Sorry for the late response. As usual, I'm very keen to go, but (also as usual) it'll depend on both my schedule and my wife's. Hopefully it being on a Sat/Sun should help, but we shall see. As soon as I know anything for definite, I'll let folks know.
also, fwiw, I like painting contests, and would be happy to help out in any way I can in that regard. Games wise, I honestly cant tell my arse from my elbow, so that side of organisation is probably best left to someone who knows what they're talking about*
*unless we're playing Magic, in which case I have got it covered

Re: NagoyaHammer 2020 - May 9th & 10th
I'm going to have to see about actual interest, but I'm provisionally thinking about running a for-reals Underworlds tournament on the non-40K day, based on my experience (good) with such a thing in Osaka earlier this summer. It'd mean asking for a hard commitment to 4 games from participants (which I myself would commit to as well, he said looking around guiltily after dropping out of his own Kill Team event to play Underworlds last year), but on the other hand I'm pretty certain I could get some organized play swag to distribute to participants, and could also probably drum up interest in the Ichinomiya group and possibly the Osaka/Kobe crowd who ran the underworlds tourney there. I'm going to get in touch with those two groups of players and get an idea of how many people might want to take part before pulling the trigger, though - and any NH people who might be interested, let me know too.
Feel free to call me Dave!

definitely interested in an underworlds tournament, and will happily provide easy wins for everyone else in the contest
assuming I can go at all, of course.

Do peoole have a preference for which day is 40K and which is free play? First post updated with a poll.

A "no preference" option might be helpful for all us wishy-washy folks!

I selfishly put the 9th down for 40k. I’m more likely to make the trip on the 9th. I do like “free days” but I can better justify the cost of the Shinkansen for an organized-play day.

I put down the 9th for 40K, too. Anything to help out a buddy. Though if you leave those Kastellan murder-machines off the table, I would consider the favor repaid in full.

@ Konrad: You are true buddy. I’ll leave the Bebops at home and bring something else to bring mayhem.
