If there is a 40k Tournament, I can probably find around 10 players from Kansai and Hokuriku.
I don't know how many would do the other non-40k day. Most of the local Japanese players are very 40k centric. The Kansai people do have some wider tastes with Blood Bowl and Age of Sigmar being the main ones.
I have a Black Powder army which has never seen any action as nobody seems to play it.

It probably wouldn't be a tournament as such, but we'll see how things shake out.

What army (and what scale minis) do you have for Black Powder? I have a few armies that haven't seen the light of day in a few years.
Painted Minis in 2014: 510, in 2015: 300, in 2016 :369, in 2019: 417, in 2020: 450

All the models are 28mm from perry and victrix. It is a British army with 6 regiments of infrantry, 3 cavalry, 2 light infantry and 4 guns.
I also have some French, but not that much.
I also have drop zone, drop fleet, battle fleet gothic, warhammer fantasy, and various other games that no one plays.

I see, I have a similar sized force of British myself. We used to have a few Black Powder players in Nagoya, but they've all left Japan or just dropped out of the hobby due to family/work commitments.
I think there are some players around here who had drop-fleet/zone minis, you may be able to find an opponent or two. If/When I get the venue booked and the event planned, you can see if anyone wants to dust off any older games.
