NH2024 is a GO!

Post by Primarch » Tue Oct 03, 2023 12:30 am

Hello good folks of Nagoya Hammer,

It gives me great pleasure to announce that our premier event, NagoyaHammer will be making its post-covid return on May 3rd (Friday and a national holiday) and May 4th (Saturday) 2024. It's a long weekend due to Golden Week, so hopefully everyone will be free to attend.
After jumping through numerous bureaucratic hoops, the room is booked and we have 15 tables worth of space to fill and two full days to do it. Discussion of games, schedules, side events and approved dice rolling techniques will follow in time, but for now start laying down plans for earning enough goodwill with any significant others or distracting any offspring for long enough to guarantee attendance.

Please feel free to voice any enthusiastic responses in a post below.

Enthusiastic Response!

Put me down for running an Underworlds tournament on the open day (was that the first or second day?), and probably not being able to make it to the other, although meeting y'all for drinks is very much on the table.

Just wondering if you've looked into throwing up a landing page of some kind? It's early enough that we probably don't need to worry about recruitment yet OFC.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Yay! That’s great. Thank you for all the effort to book the room!

I will do my best to attend as I haven’t missed many of these glorious events, and I’ll be ready to help out in any way I can with terrain, transport etc if I can.

Hey! It has been aaaaages! I am pretty much out of 40K these days, but will be up for something on the free day for sure and will probably just hang out and watch the tournament day.

I will try to gather some players from Kansai/Hokuriku. Most play only 40k but there are some Blood bowl and Age of Sigmar players. The 40k players would probably prefer some kind of structured/tournament format. The Hokuriku players are mostly Japanese while the Kansai players are mostly from other countries.

This was the news I was hoping to read! I’ll try to see if I can make the stars and schedule align with the deities of my life, my wife, daughters and work.

Hey job! Hisashiburi. We should see if we can make the stars and schedule align for a couple of beers.
