Hooray!

My NAF membership arrived today. No more shall I have to play with scatter dice clumsily splodged over with white-out! Nae! For the time has come when my BB games shall be graced with the glory of LIME GREEN BLOCK DICE!

WOOOOOOOOOO! :D :D :D :D

on a side note, i searched the net to find BB dice, and was rather shocked to find theyre goddam expensive. the cheapest method by far (that i found) was taking out an NAF membership for a year, as they send you a set of dice for doing so. NAF are the official BB league organisers, btw. Some bloke in a flat in England, I think, based off the return addy on my dice

Today spev was kind enough to come down to Tsu to meet Sean and talk about mortgages an other such things. While he was here we managed to get in a game of blood bowl, my first bit of gaming in many moons His halflings vs my dark elves. Suffice to say, it was not my best game. I lost 2-1, and only had 4 guys left on the pitch at the end of the game.

Against newbie halflings :(

Meh, lets just hope that it's purged alla my bad luck before the tourney at Naghammer :) big thanks to spev for coming down here and also for the bag o nappies, which will doubtless be very useful :)

the massive number of 1s didn't help the pointy ears.

Funnily enough, I spent the day playing Blood Bowl.

Sorry, make that "getting hammered by ogres and lizardmen". :( As is becoming traditional, I had two deaths in the first two games, although this time it was only a Lineman (whom I've replaced) and the replacement Journeyman stand-in.

The first Lineman dies in the match against the ogres. Not, as one might assume, by getting his head kicked in by an angry 10' ogre. No, it was by tripping over a snotling and breaking his neck. The only member of the oposing team to be removed from the pitch was another snotling, sent off for fouling.

In the second game, my equalising pass down the right wing was intercepted by a Saurus, of all things. At least this time I managed to injure something in return.
