New rules for Blood Bowl?
New rules for Blood Bowl?
Seems that Bugman's Bar at Warhammer World is putting on a Blood Bowl event. As such, they have made the rules, team lists and star players available online.

Just follow the links in the page above.
I haven't checked to see if these are 'new' rules, an update or just the last edition, I'll leave that for those of you with access to the older versions to compare them to.

At a brief glance, they look like the old rules with a slightly different format (not including the changes they mention on the webpage, of course). It's pretty cool that they are having a Blood Bowl Tournament. We should do that here in Nagoya!

Re: New rules for Blood Bowl?
From first glance the rules don't look changed (although I'm OS on a business trip so have nothing to which I can compare them). First thing I looked for was to see if the human catchers had been upped to strength 3 (to align with the cyanide game BB2), but they have not.
Interesting move on GW's part, as they don't even sell the minis any more, but it's obviously aimed at ramping up some interest ahead of the new edition in the (near?) future.
I second a BB tournament in Nagoya!

If you or YS feel that it is a good idea, by all means book something. I'll do my best to attend, though I may need to borrow a team...The Underdweller wrote:At a brief glance, they look like the old rules with a slightly different format (not including the changes they mention on the webpage, of course). Well, I'll think about that. I guess I would need help from YS and/or Grim Ironjaw, as I suppose other people would also need to borrow teams, and pitches of course. I wonder how much interest there is?Primarch wrote:If you or YS feel that it is a good idea, by all means book something. I'll do my best to attend, though I may need to borrow a team...

Man, don't tempt me. Bloodbowl does look like such silly fun. I really don't have time to work on another set of miniatures. Because you know I'd have to convert every single one of them. I just can't help myself.

I'm always up for Blood Bowl. Regularly play a league on the computer with a few friends. Not got a pitch or a team on hand but that's easily solved!

my good man, blood bowl is not silly. It is the sport of kings. Nothing more, nothing less. It is, however, awesome fun.
