Interesting. Looks like GW liked the taste of royalties they got from Dawn of War and have come back for more. The screen shots all look ok, could be a winner.

For all the things they may or may not do wrong, GW has great background for its games, and a lot of excellent looking minis. The look and fluff of most games is more than enough to base any variety of computer games on.

If it's xcom style (turn based) it could be fantastic. I picked up the last couple of ipad GW games, Warhammer Quest and Space Hulk. Both are fine, but you miss the power and control that you might get on PC or console. Hopefully this will get a PS3 release, something you can really settle down with.
