15 Year Retrospective

Post by The Other Dave » Mon Jul 13, 2015 1:33 am

Tuomas Pirinen has written a (not very deep, but still pretty interesting) retrospective on the design of Mordheim on his facebook page over here.

A bit late I know, but thanks for posting this! It's an interesting little insight into GW history.

I liked the article and insights into how Mordheim was put together. It was a bit nostalgic, which isn't bad. It also is reflective how far away GW has come from its roots as a much more informal business centered about making a game rather than profit driven.

Absolutely..we will never see the likes of Mordheim, Necromunda again from GW (god, add Fantasy Battle to that list!). Instead, more clinical, cynical, less creative, less gritty, and more overtly money garnering kiddy friendly offerings will be the norm. But we knew that.
