I'm guessing they'll be in book two along with the Mantis Warriors and Space Sharks.

Wanna bet they're very different from what we're playing them as?

Nah, I think I would lose that bet. The rumours I have read say that the Mantis Warriors will be heavy on the scout side of things, but I doubt they'll give me scout as a chapter tactic. We'll see in a few months or so when book 2 comes out.

I just had a read of this and have to say that I REALLY want to have some renegade marauder squads. And graviton guns are back!!!!

The book is aces. I have read all of it except for the boarding missions so far (I will get round to that when I have time). Some of the new characters make for some interesting army builds if you play marines.
You can have
Scoring Terminators
Scoring Assault troops with twin linked flamers/heavy flamers
All marines get stealth
All marines get tank hunter and all rhinos get extra armour for free
All tactical squads get apothercaries for free (red scorpions)
And a dozen guys who still have combat tactics and other special rules.

I'm actually looking at repurposing some of my guard and some marine bodies I have lying around to do the Tyrants Legion. I love the rules for "The Tyrant's Due" Basically the army is a mix up of marines and IG conscripts. If the marines get a cover save for being behind the conscripts, the marines take a 3+ save and the conscripts take d3 casualties as the marines use them as human shields. It's deliciously evil.
