As for the Aphelion missions have you looked at missions 5 and up I dare say that the Nids are given a clear advantage...
Missions 6 and 7 are definitely in my favour, but in all fairness the previous 5 favoured the marines/ig. Mission 5 was the random bugs entering from a random side of the table with a low chance of A)getting a synapse creature and B) getting it where you needed it. Do you remember that game? How my units would enter the table on one turn and flee off on the next without you needing to do anything? I'm just saying, the guys who wrote those scenarios had little understanding of how to play with bugs.
Doesnt matter now anyway, the new codex makes being out of Synapse more forgiving.

I tremble in my boots thinking about fighting Bugs. It looks like they can horde as well as an Ork, and thier heavy hitters could shred anything big, mean and green. Hive Tyrant vs Ork Warboss, I mean really, if bugs could laugh.......
I was trying to figure out just how many rokkits/kannons/etc it would take to kill one of those T6 W6 monstrosities and just began to weep. I know that massed basic weapon fire will wear it down, but by then, if it's that close and it's not already dead, it's probabally too late. If it does not eat you, the little bugs you have been ignoring while you try and kill the 'zilla will. A big bug is more dangerous than most any vehicle I can think of. Vehicles are immune to a lot of fire that can wound a nidzilla (well on a 6, and with a 3+AS but it can happen), but a nid is 100% killy until it is dead. Vehicles you can at least stun, blow weapons off etc.
Not that I am totally despairing. I've gotz kunnin planz and whatnot, if the Meks can get it built one of deez dayz.

Attack the big bugs with hords of boyz run a few red bwagonz wif deff rollaz at the little bugs and you are in good shape my guess iz da bug are hard but beatable.

try Three D6 against your Trygon as send one after another at him...

That would be a better tactic than trying to squish hordes with those things. Deffrollas are best used on the big stuff, cos the little stuff doesnt care.
