Yes, that`s the legendary Ryogo`s Imperial Fist army (his Tomb Kings and High Elves were featured on GW`s main site a few months back); it looks even better in person. He added the new Forgeworld Caestus Assault Ram and lots of goodies to it.

I was also on the victorious Forces of Destruction side (Daemons!!!) with Yarrick and I can say that it was a battle for the ages. We had 30,000 points of fully-painted models on the table including two titans, baneblade, fortress of arrogance, banesword (IIRC), Scabiethrax, and a heirodule. I also fielded the Tetragon of Darkness (all 4 Chaos Greater Daemons with accompanying Lesser Daemon units). We had two vortex missiles and a vortex grenade go off for lots of model-removing insanity (our side also had a vortex grenade, but he vanished when the model carrying it was caught in the vortex created by a vortex missile). The Imperial Titan went nuclear in a very tightly packed area and took out about 2000 points worth of models! over 50 models died (both sides) trying to take and hold one of the central objectives. The Chaos Side deployed 6000 points in one minute and 59 seconds (as per deployment bid) which was pretty chaotic in and of itself.

It was a fun/glorious/beautiful/crazy battle. It`ll be hard to top it....but I`m sure we`ll try one of these days!

<stoner> Wouldn't that make, like, an anti-vortex? Duuuuude. </stoner>

And seriously, Nagoya folks, nothing will blow your mind more than getting the chance to play against one of Ryogo's (or Yamada's, but I forget where he does most of his gaming these days) armies. Always fully-painted, always to an unbelievable level of quality, and the dude is unfailingly gracious and friendly (about both gaming and painting) to boot. Notice how I don't like to use unpainted models? I never used to mind, then I was in his gaming group for a few years.
Feel free to call me Dave!
