:( I dont really see what the problem is with the death co. Sure, rage makes them run at the nearest unit, but isnt that what you want them to do anyway? Worst case scenario, just stick em in a transport, desho? or deep strike their asses beside something fragile. And quite aside from all this game-related stuff, surely the most important reason to buy/field a mini is that it looks cool? Fluffiness would come second in my book, but the DC win on both counts. A slight gimping in terms of tactical control shouldnt even rate, i reckon. The Death Company are the Blood Angels, in the same way that huge mobs of boys represent Orks, or getting butchered in H2H represents Tau.* Just my tuppence worth. Its not like I know much about em, except with regards to their emminent shootablity vis a vis dark reapers...

*I'd give an example for eldar too, only the different craftworlds have quite distinct army composition, much like SM chapters are different. Only eldar dont seem to be important enough for "codex: Ulthwe" or similar...

But who plays Eldar anyway?
When the new Eldar dex eventually makes it's way around, they will probably get a load of new units/special HQs which open up new army builds. That seems to be the thing these days. And for a few short months before the next codex comes along, Eldrad will be the most powerful psyker in the galaxy.
I'm just waiting to see the look on Eldrad's face when the new Tau super-psyker unit is unveiled.... :lol:

Anyone around here planning on scratch building a stormraven? Its a fast skimmer with AV12 all round that drops dreadnoughts on people's heads. Plus M.i.j. loves them so.

um...ok, back on topic: The best way to kill death company is either charge em with banshees (plus jain zar) or shoot em with dark reapers plus a CS/TML Exarch. Or Shoot em with Starcannon.

Best way to deal with Banshees is to shoot them with Baal Preds. Best way to deal with Dark Reapers is to charge them with death company.
Or drop a dread on them from a passing Stormraven.

tbh, you could win most any game against me with a stormraven, cos as soon as you produced it from your bag I'd go into paroxysms of nyaaaargh and end up twitching on the floor. result:you win by default...
