We were just chillin' next to our Rhino. You can kill a simple Rhino cant you? Even with like 5 turns of shooting? No? Oh. That must feel like a great victory then. :D
Rules lawyering to extend the game for 6 more turns so you can squeeze out a minor victory does not, in any way, entitle you to say that you owned anybody.
Anyway. Please discuss the rumours here rather than bragging about non-existant "ownings"

Another one bites the dust. Who'll give me decent odds on M_I_J turning into a Marine Fan Boy by the end of next year :D

I love how the "Space Sharks" name got changed to the highly imaginative 'carcharodons'. ;)

Feth Carchaseaddons. If I do them they'll be Space Sharks all the way.
I probably wont do them, having more than enough in the way of Marine armies, but if I did....

we had killed most of your army and that made the turns go by much faster... I ran in to the same thing at NagoyaHammer last year. guy made me play until the end an extra hour... just so he could get his extra points... I had no issue with that... I am sure you can appreciate that..

FW have put up a preview page of IA 10 here.
It gives you some idea of what Space Sharks could look like. Sadly the rules previews are too small to make out.

I read on another forum that they had a Maori theme to them. I'm looking forward to the new book. IA9 was fething good.

Good to see that the British and US education systems have spent wisely on geography textbooks :D :D :D

@The Madmiral: Which Pacific islands? Japan, New Zealand, New Guinea, The Galapagos? I can only assume, you mean Polynesian :geek: . The vague pix do seem to show Polynesian style designs on their armour. Most Polynesian societies venerated sharks to some degree too. Could be interesting.

@Prim: AFAIK Maori people come from a group of Pacific islands, which IIRC are called New Zealand. The designs look more non-New Zealand Polynesian though. The tattoo designs found in the rest of Polynesia are markedly different to Maori ones.

BTW GW/FW better be careful. Maori don't take too kindly to folks 'borrowing' their intellectual/cultural property rights without asking. Just ask Coca-cola Japan and Amie Namuro :D
