to that end I want a ban on all tournament play in Japan... may there never be any kind of tournament play in Japan on Saturdays or any other day of the week that I do not have to work...
When did you ever ask for there NOT to be a tournament? You were the biggest advocate for having one. Now, M_i_J said he wanted two days of non-tournament play at NagoyaHammer 2011. Of course, he was the second person to sign up for the tournament. ;)

dat's coz even tho i have an opinion, i can be flexible when needed :D

ee's bein contrary. He figures that since all we ever do is disagree with him, he should ask for the opposite of what he actually wants, then, logically, we'll disagree with him and give him what he really wants (i.e. a tournament.)

By the way guys, speaking about narthecium a few posts earlier, in the 5th edition of space marines, are there any other ways of adding apothecaries to my army except for the command squad?

Not really no. For Codex Space Marines only command squads can get apothecaries.
There are two exceptions.
If you take a Red Scorpions army you can get an apothecary in every tactical squad, they replace the sergeant. The apothecary costs 25 points and has a pistol, narthecium, grenades and cant take any upgrades.
You can take apothecaries for free if you take the special character Lord High Commander Carab Culln from Imperial Armour 9 (The Red Scorpions named character). He costs 215 points and is very tough. He is equipped with Terminator Armour, a Storm Bolter and a Relic Blade. He has various special rules, one of which is replacing Combat Tactics (for all units) with free apothecaries (for tactical squads only). Again you lose access to the sergeant's upgrades.
The second exception is the special character for the Salamanders, Master Harath Shen. At 135 points for a statistics line similar to a chaplain, Feel No Pain (with a reroll for any 1's) and a small boost for melee combat, he is a decent way of adding an apothecary to any unit you want.

Ah, I see, thanks!
But these are all extra rules right? I mean rules that do not apply officially since they are not in the codexes? They may be official but not valid in tournaments etc. Right?

Now that we talked some about rules I have another question regarding Assault Squads.

For Assualt Squads in the space marine codex it says under dedicated transport that if you choose to remove the jump packs they may be taken as infantry (troop choice?) and get a drop pod or rhino for free(!) except for any upgrades.
This sounded very good to me as this is the kind of unit that I have been looking for, but my question is;
What if I want to take a razorback as their dedicated transport, do I have to pay the full 40 points extra or is it enough if I only pay 5 points considering that you get the orignal Rhino(35pts) for free?

There is a rules section for these kind of questions, but:
1). No, you cant use Red Scorpion rules or either of the characters for tournaments usually.
2). Razorbacks cost the full 40 points for the unit. If there was any kind of discount it would be mentioned.

YEAAAH! ...Yeah....yea...err meh.

And the cheers die out quietly. Some people are really excited about the new erratas/faqs, and there are some nice updates, storm shields (albeit increased points costs) e.t.c but I find that these really favor the gun line templar armies more than my preferred black tide army. Thanks for the cyclone missiles, a less incompetent apothecary and a mean machine spirit but where are the bare essentials like frag and krak grenades...ugggggggggggh no, fraid you still have to pay for those.

sad to say assaulty templars are still ridiculously overpriced, and if I wanted to play a gunline..I'd think I would rather the vanilla marine dex.

Its better than nothing, but free grenades would make a big difference I'm sure. You'll just have to hold out for your 5th Ed. Codex, though I've heard nothing about when that will be coming.
