@Karantu I only have 6 actual spawn (that's still 3 boxes because GW is stupid), but if my opponent is nice I can proxy in 5 more in the form of my Blightkings.

I dig the AdMec ornithopter, and I think it fits nicely with the hovercraft (and the initial releases) to keep AdMech firmly in the "random grab-bag of mid-20th-century weird science fiction whiz-bang filtered through the 40K aesthetic" area.

The Sisters unit / diorama / character is bonkers and I'm all for it. It doesn't make me want to own it or anything, and the "wait, there's more cherubs attached to these cherubs attached to these scrolls attache to these chains?" factor makes me even more sure that the GW designers are very out of touch with the reality of people who have to carry miniatures more than a few yards to play games with them, but still. Looks cool!

I 100% want the Triumph but I'm not sure about painting it. Looks a little bit beyond Contrast and hope!

cor blimey - some interesting pieces there.

The Triumph - is very good. I like it a lot more than the big Skelly-boi, although the Holy Pizza of Pepperoni is already generating memes, and may it continue to do so for manys a...day (given the usual longevity of internet memes... )

The ornithopter gets a nah from me. Yeah, ok, fair play for trying something new, but it really looks like most of it should belong to the Kharadron stunties, with a helicopter windscreen taped on the front. It's trying to be two vehicles at the same time, and neither of them is getting a fair shout.

The bomber - yuss. I'm generally a fan of sleek, swooshy vehicles, but that is pure orky know-wots right there. You can practically smell the dakka.

eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Oh boy, finally some Tau updates!
Since they named the book "The Greater Good" hopefully they won't be taking the backseat like the Nids did with the Blood of Baal.
Hopefully they make playing Tau feel Tau-ish again.
Each book will be accompanied by an epic champion to lead the charge in this terrible age. These legendary heroes will include reborn, reimagined and brand-new characters, but we can’t reveal any more details at the moment.
Also that wording makes it sound like we're getting a new Tau hero. Hopefully either a new Farsight or Shadowsun?

Also I'm guessing the Saga of the Beast is refering to Ghazghkull which means two factions in a row for me =D.
And given their statement and rumours, Ghaz is probably getting a new model too.

So, this is a thing people are discussing.

3 years for a new edition? It's still better than 6th>7th and 7th>8th.

Hm, I’d take it all with a big heap of salt. The last round of CA rumors were wildly off and there seemed to be a bit of doom-mongering mixed into the reports. My other thought is that a new edition wouldn’t be the worst thing. While a bit rough on occasional players (such as myself), it does keep the rules dynamic and keeps the game from getting stale. As usual my two cents.

He'll be in line behind Primaris Ragnar though :)

If it's just a refresh and doesn't invalidate codexes, I think it would be good. There's certainly a lot of good work going on in other GW games that could be incorporated into the core rules. If the lifespan of the Marine Codex + supplements is a year or so, there will be sadness.

A more radical new edition wholesale stealing good tech from Apocalypse, AOS, Kill Team, Warcry etc etc and innovating from there would be even better but that would burn a lot of codex/PA buyers.
