But I said it slightly differently and whilst you mentioned synergy I mentioned causing break tests. But yeah, same thing I guess.me_in_japan wrote:I said dat already...Prim wrote: Another bit of advice I can offer is 'Stay focused on a target' If you start trying to kill a unit, make sure it dies. A dead unit is better than a casualty in every unit. Dont leave one guy standing (especially if its a scoring unit).
If it looks like you are going to lose, kick the legs out from under the table and then reposition the models in a better place when you get everything sorted out.....
If it looks like you are going to lose, dont give up. Keep trying and do your best to win on objectives etc etc. Several examples spring to mind. I have forced draws against Mij's space elves by holding/contesting objectives even though he has destroyed my army. I have won games with just two models (both scoring) on the table and I have lost games I thought I had due to a last second tank shock and the luckiest chaos marine running through my sights for 3 turns grabbing the objective. Positive Mental Attitude is a key. Giving up mentally and griping about the game/the opponent's army/bad dice rolls wont help you win.
