Well the got a nice little poster up of the chapters of the Badab War and it is on preorder. From the looks of it, I have a sinking feeling that my minotaurs got a new coat of paint.

The LR Achilles on the FW site is in the Minotaur's 'new' colours.

So a browner yellow with black markings.
Doesnt mean you have to repaint your guys unless you really want to. From the preview of IA10 on the FW site, my Mantis Warriors are getting yellowish shoulder pads. I'm not sure if I'll bother making the change.

Is it just me or does it look like the Lamenters minus the black and white checkered shoulder pads?

Either way, man is that ugly.

It seems strange how much they changed it. Up till now the minotaurs had a cool scheme. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had toned it down some, but I'm utterly shocked that they completely dulled it down. I really wonder why they did that.

Maybe the FW guys couldn't paint bright yellow very well.
I think it looks ok, but not great. All of the colour schemes in the IA9 book seem fairly dull compared to the bright vivid marine colours in the codex.

this is true of most IA books they are mostly dark and scary... nothing bright and shinny...

Now watch they make the Eldar neon colors just to provide contrast.

why should you have to redo yours... I would keep the old school look... the Red scorpions do not look the same as mine.. I am not changing a thing.. granted if I wanted to make mine look just like theirs then I would not have much to do... but I would not not change a thing if I were you...
