I know it. But I have so many projects on my hot plate as is, I can't really afford it.

*bounces up and down with barely controllable excitement*

never before have I had cause to use the word "w00t" but I feel its about time to break out the geek slang, as no other word can contain the sheer yippedeeyayaye I currently feel at the release of the new eldar.

deaddude aspect chappies:
funky models: check
squad of 5, not 10 : check (and just as bloody well, given the price)
heavy support slot: sadly, check.
screaming sunnavabitch to transport: check ( ) (I mean, seriously - those guns and capes in resin?!?)

dcannon tank thinger.
not a super heavy vehicle: check (major yay on this un - I thought that super heavy looking thing was all theyd done)
range 36 d cannon on a fast skimmer: check
alternate fire mode for when folks get worryingly close: check
most fire magnetty model in the eldar army: check ( )

most interesting line: "A Warp Hunter is a Heavy Support choice for an Eldar
army and an Eldar Corsairs army."

all together now...

wooow...shadow spectres are pretty damn good...well at least the "unsanctioned experimental" rules are anyway.

eldar finally got a S10 weapon...with a reroll too in a best case scenario. Very cool.

anti heavy infantry with tank busting capabilities HAH, could've guessed.

er.......woot

...and with a flash - it was pre-ordered :D

tbh, really couldnt give a monkey's proverbial if they change the rules later or not. The models are aces, and thats all it takes to sell stuff to me these days. The fact that the rules are also bonza is just a bonus, really. And dont come crying to me about how dangerous they are. T3 4+Sv, or AV12 tanks. Theyre just banshees and a falcon - no harder to kill (ok, the spectres get a 5+*, but when did that ever help the harlequins, hmmn?)

OMG they can deep strike too. Are you kidding me man? thats awesome....I missed the part where it says 5 up invuln, and thats awesome too.

Do not scoff, sir, at the humble 5+ invuln, if you didn't have anything, you'd wished you had that 5+ invuln. I'm a taking a librarian these days just so I get one.

Yes, that caught my attention as well.
A new army list from Forge World in IA11 perhaps?
