Games Workshop doing the right thing and shutting down HQ, stores, factories and warehouses. They mention UK and US, I know it's the case for Australia too, not sure about Japan.

Does finally make me understand the hoarding instinct though, I feel an urge to strip the shelves at Yodabashi and Joshin

Edit: seeing a mail from the head of Community going around, looks like it is worldwide, 24th to the 14th of April at least. I hope my order of Wolves stuff gets over the line, but either way I'm happy GW is doing the right thing and looking after their people.

They didn't have a choice. The UK is closing everything except for essential services. Some of their office staff may be able to work remotely, but all of their production, logistics and retail in the UK just got closed down.

Sure, that's fine with me. I'm not in any rush so I could take the Ork half off your hands whenevers convenient for you. Also that reminds me that I need to go to Plamojuku to try out Warcry sometime. If only it wasn't for that pesky Corona Virus and work being a bit too busy...

If anyone has decided they're desperate to have Ragnar Wick or Ghaz, Plamojuku has a Prophecy of the Wolf box in Japanese; wouldn't be surprised if Joshin and Yodabashi got one last shipment with it too.

Plamojuku is dramatically less crowded though

They did a little online preview thing and there's some good stuff in there!

The Lumineth get a sort of minotaur... spirit... mountain... giant... thing. The "marquis" version isn't so great but there's an alternate I like a lot:


Plus some hammer dudes who I think are the first real miss of the range.

(Mostly for the weird horn back banner things, which their hammers are sure to get caught on.)

hmmmn. Thoughts, in order...

minotaur thingy wotsit: Most of it is bloody lovely. The face/mask thing is a bit deer-in-the-headlights. But generally, I like.

hammer elves: A big nope on those helmets. Srsly, what were they thinking?

Fabulous Bile - *shrug* should've gone much more horror movie mad scientist, but whatevs.

Warcry gang - a bit underwhelming, tbh. To be fair, they're not really in my wheelhouse, being fighty muscly types. Needs more swoosh.

The Lion - Overall, I like this a lot, but it does lack for a certain swoosh. He looks like he's holding his sword, not swinging it back. There's no flow of motion, which hurts the mini a fair bit. Detail and design-wise, though, I like it.
