That was a good one... I am going to wake up the kids I laughed so hard... I guess the same could be said about a Tau army or just about any thing that 10 Nob bikers slam into

hohoho.

its when you set up such that your army is kinda stretched out across your deployment zone, then in turn 1 (or before, if you have Eldrad :P ) you quickly move all your guys over to one side. The idea is that it leaves half your opponents stuff out too far away from where they can do anything useful, and the other half up against your entire army. It only works if youre faster than your opponent. I won the last tournament with it. :D

Really seemed to work for you I guess there will be others using it with the new Dark Eldar dex being the new flavor of the month...

I know this is an old thread. But it is hard to pull new tricks as has been written without a new codex for Chaos Space Marines. Most of their stuff is the same as in years passed and the new stuff is next to useless ie possessed and spawn.

Well, assuming a new dex is in the pipeline for chaos, I would advise you to keep using the tried and true methods of winning with CSM for a little longer and then annihilate all your opponents with your overpowered, cheese filled codex of doom when it gets released.

Looks like that is the best way... Bit borking though. I would like to a bit more finesse though. Hope it come out soon with a whole cheese platter!

based off the current new dexes, I suspect it'll probly be quite interesting. I mean, yes you can cheesefest your way to victory with squillions of wolf riding space puppies, but there's also flavourful stuff like those mental solo chaps who actually lose you a VP if theyre still alive at the end of the game. Stuff like that is fun. Just because a 'dex contains the potential for cheese doesnt mean you have to actually take advantage of it. Take the road less travelled and have some fun along the way, i say :)

I have been doing the fluffy stuff since I got my CSM 8 years ago. But I want new tactics. Tactics make things fun for me now, unless it really is a story based battle, then I am all over fluffy.

Don't worry though, I don't have the spare cash to go spammy.

's alright Dlord. You play mono-Tzeentch. i dont think anybody in their right mind could accuse you of power gaming :D

*edit* ps - if you want tactics, Warmachine/Hordes is where it's at. Just preachin' the word, brotha :D
