Witchblades have NEVER been mentioned as S9 vs armour in the codex. It says to see the core rulebook. Singing spears are listed as S9 in the codex.

@Prim: As I said that was after a very quick skim through. AFAIK Witchblades follow the new rule while Singing spears keep the old ones.

Anyways, there are quite a few other little goodies for the Eldar. BTW I don't know why but I have been reading it from an Eldar player's POV.

Fast vehicles can move 12" and fire two wepons at full BS. Falcons and Vypers became a little better. The latter especially, they were paper thin to begin with so the new glancing rules aren't that bad for them + they jink + 2 weapons. I think they could be a new flavour of Eldar Spam lite(TM)? Not quite Venoms but you don't have to pay for troops to get 'em.

Swooping Hawks are now the bane of ALL tanks. Before it was quite risky to try and assault a tank and hope to get the critical penetrating hit. HP stripping glancing hits are much easier to come by though. Bye bye Land Raider! I think I have 10 or so lying around somewhere.

as I said this new default Psychic power is really 'guide' on steroids. Not only is the range better and effect wider. It really buffs overwatch/snapfiring. Sure it's still only at BS1 but as we all know re-rolls are king, right?

That's about it for now. I should probably have another read over it again with Dark Eldar/Chaos eyes too.

To be honest I don´t know how 6th ed will play I got so angry with the "because you are in Japan" surcharge that I haven´t even bothered to d/l a naughty copy around.

It might change once my wife decides when we are going to Nagoya if I can get a game with you guys. Kobe gaming is a little bit sad right now specially when the LFGS is not L and not very F

Tho if we get more terrain kits I might be happy, the terrain FOC slot sounds intriguing, trade the Aegis line for some homemade trenches and play WWI 40K ;)

So I ordered the Japanese rule book from GW Japan. Holy crap, it's costing me $185 US between the book and shipping. I really need to teach my kid to read English so I can save some money. :)

Disgusting, ain't it? Prices like that are why folk here don't play anymore (well, we do play, but we complain like hell about it. Well, some of us complain. Well. I do, anyway... ;) )

I complain lots too :x but then I´m pretty inelastic to GW price rises  I started buying alternate figures some time ago and if the Swooping Hawks are making a come back I´m putting and order for this

Yeah I know, less detailed than finecost but less bubbles too and the two guns mojo sergeant is pure gold :o

OK so I'll put my hand up and admit I am the biggest gaming snob and biggest Hippogryph on this forum. I take it all back. I'm very excited about 6th from everything I've heard. I've just ordered the book from the US via amazon. If I ever happen to own a coffee table someday it's going on there with the Hitchhikers guide and Deathtrap Dungeon. :D :D :D :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

Are amazon allowed to do that? I thought GW had an international sales embargo in place.
