Little bit of thread-omancy going on here, but this is relevant.

I just pre-ordered the Badab War Imperial Armour book. Jeepers those things are expensive. However, I want to get a GOOD look at the rules before I decide to start building any more marine armies. Ie, are the chapters in the book just standard marine codex units with no special rules, or do the characters (Huron, Culln et al) have some chapter tactics rules a-la Shrike and Kantor.
Of course, since FW left the Mantis Warriors out of the book with the plan of including them in the next one, I have to buy that two. Very clever FW, very clever indeed.

will some one be looking to get yet another marine army? sorry bro but that is nuts... you are a bit mental if you do that... the best way to deal with an addiction is to swap it for another addiction... how about if you drink enough to make you current marine units look like the ones you are want to play in BADAB WAR

OR I could just paint some of the marines I have sitting around without paint and add a couple of special characters/unit upgrades here and there. Whichever is easier.

I'm guessing they'll be in book two along with the Mantis Warriors and Space Sharks.

I'm not sure yet. I haven't read the rules. The Huron model looks wicked though so maybe....Astral Claws.
I may have to buy the Red Scorpion Librarian as well as the model is great and the scorpions on his armour can be filed off easily.

Do they sell him as a single model??...I thought he came with the honor guard. I need the whole lot just because they are Red scorpions...

Wanna bet they're very different from what we're playing them as?
