Damn wraithbone buildings!

Maybe I should just save myself a lot of time and buy the GW eldar terrain...

Oh that's right! Every building in the entire 41st millennium is imperial. No other species constructs edifices of any kind. Those GW scenery kits are ideal for my eldar army

Not that I would ever buy them, but seriously, if they're writing terrain into army lists, they damn well better produce a whole slew of army specific buildings and gun turrets n stuff.

Gw terrain is very good, but was hit by the recent price changes quite badly. Coincidence? It will probably be possible to scratch build stuff to use in the game. Being allowed to choose what terrain you have on the table is potentially very good. Maybe it will encourage more people to put some effort into making a full terrain set.
Well, Japanese prices didn't change at all, on terrain or anything else as far as I can tell. But it seems to me that GW has always expected players to make their own terrain, and the terrain possibilities provided by the rules go well beyond what is actually available as kits. Making terrain is high on my list of priorities after my army is all or mostly painted. I'd like to have a "snow planet" kit I can bring to games day and such.

I hope this isn't a repost, I checked some titles and headers but my time is short lived on here today. This link was floating around and cross sourced from Librarium Online. Warseer is also confirming this list+

I see lots of Tau reconfigurations there, I'm pretty excited and hope the army survives the new Edition.

I think it will encourage people to buy big, plastic terrain sets. Sounds like now we'll have to use the term proxying with our terrain too.

I have a full terrain set, it's just that nobody comes to my house to use it... woe, woe is me

What I don't have is eldar buildings. The reason for this is that it really, really hard to scratch buil anything eldar. No sharp edges, y'see...

I'm pretty sure that almost all of that list, and certainly all of the Tau, is just finecast recasts of old metal models. Nowt to get excited about, unfortunately. :(

On the plus side, clearly Tau aren't being written out, which is a good thing, as they look very cool. I do really like the Tau models. I hope that when they get a new dex it does them justice.

Not necessarily. I have 2 armies and I didn't buy a single overpriced mini out if necessity.
Not trying to sound like a prat, but I don't remember the last time you won a 40K game :? I know you're not the competitive type, but I for one would like to have an army that could stick to the man when stickin' was needed.

More cool terrain is always welcome. Shame you will have to lug that and your army around too now.

Wow, I am really sounding like a stick in the mud these days...well... GO WARMACHINE!
