6th edition starter box 40% off

Sadly the 40% deal was put on hold because the retailer jumped the gun and isn't actually sure what is being released on Monday. He is a great guy though. So it was an honest mistake. When I know what is going on I will post it on here. Otherwise I could put you in contact with him. He doesn't really speak English, but I am sure he understands more than he says. But it sounds like you can speak Japanese anyway.

If you're ordering it from the States, any Games Workshop store or dealer should be able to get you the version with the Japanese rules.

I'm just down the road from a BattleBunker, but all they do is have you order from the US GW website through a kiosk at their store and have it sent to the Bunker. Kind of stupid. As for Rogue Trader stores, they stare at me blankly when I ask about ordering the Japanese version.

I guess I could order it through the Japanese GW site, but have a feeling they won't ship to me. Maybe I could get them to ship to my son's address in Japan, but trying to get it sent here because his mom throws away most of the things I buy for him (hundreds of Star Wars miniatures dumped in the trash).

Seemed a little early on the 40% offer, so not surprised it's on hold. Would appreciate the owner's contact information though. As for my Japanese, it's quite horrible (bad on me), but I have muddled through a Japanese email or two in the past.

Just exploring ideas since it looks like I'll have my son with me for the summer and I was hoping to play a lot of 40K with him and having a Japanese rulebook would let us both learn and explore the new rules together.

Fair enough. I think it would be to order the rule book or box set from the store here in Japan and have it sent to America. May not be a huge saving due to the cost of freight. But at least you would have what you want. If you only needed the rulebook, The cheapest would be getting the box set, selling the minis back to the store and getting the rulebook sent to u in America. But I suspect the. I'd set won't be out for a month or two.

The highlights:

The 6th Edition starter set isn't out yet, but he's selling the 6th Edition hardcover rule book for 40%, making it ¥6,060. It's due out on the 30th. Most other 40K products will be 30% off until the starter set is available.

July releases include the last remaining Necron items, Orikan the Diviner and Anrakyr the Traveller.

Question: is there a time limit on ordering these from Nagoya? I've never ordered through him but I'd love to snag a few things at that reduced rate, I wasn't able to make Nagoyahammer during Golden Week!

Not sure. It seems (as Tenorikuma mentioned) that the 30% of selected 40K products will last until the starter set comes out. It isn't clear if that includes the 40% off the rule book.
