What about the Apocalypse slugfest and/or the Demolition derby?

I would still like to do the Demo. derby if others are interested. The Apocalypse unit match up can wait. Much as I want to blow everyone to pieces with my Warhound. I suspect it may not be super-fun for everyone else. Plus, if I come by train, I don't want to have to lug a titan with me.

What say you savages?

@Spev: Let's lay down some 'rules' for the various events. Nothing too serious, mind you.

And here's me all set for the Apocalypse battle royale.
I'm happy with any of the games suggested.

I reckon that King of the Hill and Demo-derby should be definites. I am willing to forgo Apoc if it means Pikey can take the train and have a few beers too.

I would also like to get in some Kill Zone. Or we an go with 250-500 pts per side random turn slug fest. I really am happy with anything small and quirky that we can all play at the same time.

What say you lot?

You should hook up with Jus then :D :D :D

Seriously...

Actually if I bring something else I could be up for the Apoc game too. Hmmm? A Doomsday machine perhaps. I could do a killzone team too.

@The Madmiral: You realize that the first round of drinks is on you! Mine's a 30 year old single malt thanks.

Right, here it is;

Last Man Standing - 1 HQ choice, no points limit.
Demolition Derby - Any vehicle from a standard codex, no points limit.
Kill Zone - Multi player, randomised turns. Not sure about points.
Apoc - What say you all?

Further to Spev's post...

Last man Standing: 40K Pit Fight

Participants may choose one Character chosen from the HQ choices in their codices.

Need I say "No retinues" or anything similar.

It may be a named Character or a generic character.

No points limit.

You may tool your character up with any appropriate wargear according to the choices/rules laid out in its codex.

Psychic powers are OK.

The fighters will start out 18" apart and dice off to see who has the first turn.

The fight will then be played out using the normal 40K rules regarding movement, shooting, assault etc.

The winner is the one who is not dead when the smoke clears.

The loser will be mourned by friends and family alike. The winner will then move on to the next round of the contest until there is only one.

@The Madmiral: My wife would have no problem with me fooling around with a 30 year old single malt. She is very open-minded like that ;) ;) ;)
