Hey,

Wow, he's right. I'd never read the actual entry for Jump Packs in the wargear section, just the army rules at the front of the book and the unit rules at the back. Thanks for pointing that out. Vanguard are a little better now I guess.

Badruk, try honour guard with melta weapons (x4) and librarian with some nasty power, little bit over kill? maybe but is relatively cheap and for some funny battles you can try it. And remember they have already FNP and furious charge, and you can combine with Sanguinius Shield power :?

...I think sanguinius is coming to me in my dreams and telling me to start a blood angels army. Although I might still need a bit of convincing. I just so happen to have some assault marines coming from inbound order, hmmm....can't get enough of vampire counts.

What so you guys think of sanguinary guard? The models really appeal to me. Only ever having 5 in a unit is a bit meh, but the coolest blood angel unit by my reckonning. 3 squads of these guys would be 600 points. Impractical maybe, but glorious.

Also, second toping on todays agenda.. Having a read through the blood angels codex, I can't help but notice the constant hinting on the fact that the chapter is almost doomed almost to almost certain extinction. Do you guys think that the blood angels are really on their last legs and will all go nuts and die out by the end of the millenium?

it is a chapter full of doom and gloom... I think it would be cool if the next version of the codex they turned to Khorne...

I think that is a truck load of points... might just as well take more Assault Marines..

You're missing the point.

Dante makes the Sanguinary Guard a scoring unit, carrying multiple melta weapons that DOES NOT scatter on the deepstrike when he joins it.

Thats better than a drop pod.

it kills one thing then it gets gunned down by what ever it did not kill... I am not worried about them.. not even a little bit... that is my ork player talking.. my tau are really just about to cry them selves to death over how broken that its... :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
