Thats better than a drop pod.
well..if you put it that way. ;) This angel theme list is beginning to take form in my mind. I wonder how airbrushes handle gold paint/metalics, hmm
my tau are really just about to cry them selves to death over how broken that its...
relax, its just Dante and his one squad.

Dante's model looks a little lame though. Doesn't look chunky enough to be chapter master.

But the BA are supposed to be the graceful, artistic type of marines. If you want chunky go Templars. Feral, go wolves. BA are for the glamorous and gorgeous.

It is a pretty unit... like said I would not be afraid for my orks but Dante and his boys would lay the smack down on the Tau after they smoke my Hammerhead.. ouch..

wouldn't hurt to be just a little bit more chunky. As he is now, he's a bit plain, I mean his sanguinary guard have more detail in their models than him, and he is the chapter master after all...and his legs are just too skinny. I guess tight fitting artificer armour is his thing then eh.

[quote...]glamorous and gorgeous[/quote] and looks like he's dancing the jig as an extra from an Andrew Lloyd Webber theatrical.

EXACTLY.

Actually, a lot of the older metal figs look skinny compared to the newer plastics. The Dante figure is quite old now and the newer models have obviously been taking steroids and working out a lot.

hmm figures..If this whole insane Bloody archangel debacle actually takes off, I will have to convert up a cooler looking Dante. One that can dance the cha-cha and has wings.

Just out of interest, who among us nagoyahammerians already collect blood angels, and do you guys have a favorite playstyle? i.e assault marine spam e.t.c

I have used them twice so far. My army is 30 assault marines, 3 baals, 1 vindicator, 1 LR, 10 DC, 5 sanguinary guard and some special characters.
As Badruck said in his second post (why did he need two? who knows?) mechanised BA are ok. Space Wolves can do mech better I feel, but the BA do it faster.
Jump Inf. heavy is also a way to go.

TBH if you aren't in a hurry, wait until the battleforce comes out in Febuary before you go buying anything.

wow, thats impressive I would like to do a first company fluff army, with as many sanguinary guard as I can. maybe some devastator squads for fire support, and maybe some assault squads for beef. How would you guys rate that kind of a list, other forums around seem to have mixed opinions.

Also do you reckon that tajimi store would have some of those models in stock? (yes I know they are absurdly expensive, just asking though :) )
