TBH I think both ways would be fun but I can see the point of making it dumb and fun... one thing that Dave may not have mentioned was turn time limits... 3 minuet or 2 if your are feeling it.. I am going to try activating as I think it could work very well...

um, i liked Mr. Rob's Kill Team rules cos they were simple. Simple is good. Fiddling about with activations and fire teams n stuff seems like an unnecesary complication, to me. We already have Malifaux for model-by-model gaming. Can we keep Kill Team dumb and fun, please?
