Hiroshima Wargaming on GW Blog

Post by Danguinius » Mon Feb 20, 2012 10:58 pm

Greetings,

Yes, most of the major cons and tournies are in the U.S. and Europe, but once in a while the wargaming spotlight is turned on Japan. Ryogo (a.k.a. R-Man, God of Painting) sent in some more pics to Games Workshop and they put them on their blog. These are from our "bonenkai" in late December. Please take a look.

and even more pics here.

The two blog entries are easy to locate from GW`s main page under the remarkably original titles: "Big In Japan" and "Big In Japan: Reloaded".

P.S. I guess it was the GW staff who decided to label me "Big Dan".

Excellent looking armies from everyone there.

You sure it was GW that gave you the moniker "Big Dan", and not the adoring ladies of Hiroshima :D

The Imp Fist army is especially impressive when you consider what a bugger yellow is to paint. But I do have a soft spot or the orks.

Awesome. And I'll say it in this thread, too - it's weird to hear Ryogo and especially Yamada-san (hell, I still fall back on "Rantei-kun") referred to by their first names.
Feel free to call me Dave!
