Emperors children post heresy

Post by jus » Mon May 14, 2012 5:09 am

After reading up on Horus heresy, Im interested in finding out more about the emperors children as they are now. codices chaos marines 2nd 3.5and 4th Ed have been very uninsightful, and apart from a few scraps that lexicanum throws at you, there little to no information, actual canon, about them. Apparently there have been internecine wars between the other legions between then and now, and much of the emperors children legion is whittled down into war bands out to have a Saturday night fever all night every night. Oh hairier faced men than I, tell me more.

2nd Ed had a good section. Basically, them and the World Eaters went at it in the eye of terror fracturing both legions beyond repair. Beyond that they are usually supporting other bands, though I remember reading a short story in some book how one of the larger warhosts decended on a planet and turned the population into a new drug.

I remember waaaay back in an old WD, there was a article on them, fluff, history, special characters and things (probably 3rd ed). Find an index of back issues you may be able to track it down.
