Got an email from Ikeda-San saying that the starter box set is being released at the end of this month and anyone ordering one by next Monday will get a 40% discount. New players to 40K will also get a bottle of Imperial primer free. I having checked the contents yet, but obviously 2 armies and a rule book will be included.

Oh and deliver is 500 yen to any where in Japan. Even if you buy 10 starter sets.

Oh oh and he says he will buy back the minis from the box set if you don't want them.

Actually, I said that the Hard Back Rulebook was 45 quid. The starter set will be more like 60 I would imagine. Expect the full RRP to exceed ichiman yen. The WFB starter is 13500. Assuming the 40K set is the same you'll be looking at 8100ish from Ikeda san.
Rumoured minis include Chaos Marines, Cultists and a Chaos Dread Vs Dark Angels with some Bikes and maybe Terminators.
If anyone wants to pick up a box and off load either set of minis, I do collect both those armies....

Regardless of the factions I'm probably making my return to 40k! No thanks to GW, but tons of thanks to Ikeda-san! Hip hip hurray! to the Town Cryer!

Stupid question, really, but I dont suppose anybody would be up for buying 2 sets (for the minis) and selling one of the rule books to me? That's all I'm after, really.
