I saw this on the GW page... Are Flyers the new standard in 40K?

a) one of those would never, ever look cool. Don't matter what scheme you paint it in. Still fugly.

b) don't pander to their blatant marketeering. This is not a rulebook. It's a sales catalogue for all the new flyer models they've either released or will release.

Reading between the lines, tho, there are no Eldar flyers in that book, which means the rules may be forthcoming in a new codex. I dunno, though - I'm oscillating up and down between "kinda interested - waiting to see if there's any cool new models" and "fk em - I've had enough of their crappy sales pitches to last me a lifetime."

Time vill tell. Sooner or later, time vill tell.

You to can have a blocky, chunky, boxy flier.
A Chaos version would be better. I expect ugly from Chaos.

Gotta go with the ugly vote as well. Never liked it. Prefer the storm talon or dark talon much more. Or storm eagle from forge world is the nicest in my opinion.Image

Same question for the storm talon, can all marine forces take it?

The Storm Talon is Codex Marines only for now, I think. The idea seems to be that chapters with their own Codices will get their own flyers eventually.

It's easy to incorporate one under the Allies rule, though. With a minimal Space Marines HQ and troops option, and you can use the Storm Talon too. That's what I've done for my Space Wolves. (And a lot of players probably will be fine with adding a Storm Talon to any Marine army as long as you ask beforehand.)
