Interested in Kill Team?

I knew things GamesWorkshop are quite dead around Nagoya. However, I would like to give 40K Kill Team a shot for some months in this Fall.
As you knew well, GW rather recently released its latest version of Kill Team game. How much I am suffering from shortage of budget and storage for new models, I can manage to buy an e-book copy of the book and adapt my mounting stock of old 40K models into some kill teams.
I already convinced Kondo-san into joining, as he bought the boxed set as a bargain product. Anyone joinin' in?
Thanks to X-Wing tutorial by YellowStreak and MiJ, my little one get more interested in miniature gaming and he would like to have some "ground fightings" of his own. It would be good for him to begin with small Space Marine kill team. I hope I can device some old-style "Kill Team vs. mob" games for him.

I'm always interested. My only problem is finding gaming time.

Yes. It's basically skirmish 40K.
200 Pt. 0-2 Trp 0-1 Elite 0-1 FA. No HQ/HS choice. No AV total more than 33 nor wounds/HP more than 2. No 2+ armor.
Any models are independent during the game. Each of remaining models must roll for Breaks after they lose more than half of the team.
Besides upgrades purchased by points, 3 designated specialists get free skills (boost on stat, free special rule, and etc.)
Leader character rolls for Trait table.

I'd be interested too. But I don't think I can buy the rules because I don't have a credit card.

I picked them up today. Basically it's 40k rules with some small changes (as per Asch's post above). Although you buy 'units' as per the codex, during the game each figure is used independently. There are also some special abilities that you can give to selected models to 'customize' them a bit more.

As Yellowstreak already pointed out, there are only few changes in the rules and I already mentioned the limitations on army building.
I suppose you can finely choose your models without having the book and pick up Specialist skills just before your first game.

Okay, I'll try that. Thanks!

If you are interested in small skirmish 40K, I recommend trying In The Emperors Name.
It's a set of fan rules written by Craig Cartmell, the author of In Her Majesty's Name.
I've only played them once, but I found them to be massively more fun than the current 40K rules.
They are on their 3rd edition now, but the 2nd edition is more complete in my opinion.
