The Lion you say? ? Wasn't that rumor debunked ? or are these new rumors.

Also that Woe is me pretty boy beast I am lest beast I become Marine is pretty hawt. The drawback of course is they consider it a flaw and hate themselves for it.

That's it.

Yeah, none of the other armies have drawbacks for their chapter-tactic-analogues. +1 to wound on the charge is big, of course, but on the other hand I've seen a lot of combats last multiple turns, so I dunno. Frankly I'm more scared by the combination of a psychic power that gives you a 12" move plus fly and the existence of psychic dreadnoughts. :o

And I haven't heard or seen anything else about the Lion, so that's probably not for real, no. I'm still holding out hope for jetbikes, though - although I'd doubt we'd see much in the way of new primaris models until later in the year when more codexes are out.

In any turn in which a unit with this ability charged, was charged, or made a Heroic Intervention you may add 1 to its wound rolls in the Fight Phase.
Note to self: buy more assault marines. :D

I was afraid that was it.
If they hate themselves so much, they should just stomp back up to their bedroom, slam the door and listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees or something.

Has anyone seen the beta rules that were put out in December? They include rules for making Smite progressively harder to cast and not being able to screen characters with other characters. Seems pretty good to me!

Rumors! These were apparently posted somewheres before the Custodes and Thousand Sons releases were announced, so they may even be legit.
February:
Codex Custodes
Codex Thousand Sons

March:
Codex Tau
Codex Necrons

April:
Codex Drukhari
Codex Harlequins

May:
Codex Space Wolves

June:
Codex Orks
New 40k boxed set
Pretty reasonable, all told, and that'll give us all the codexes within a year of 8th edition's release as promised. The "New 40K boxed set" thing is intriguing - a new range of get started boxes every year would be an interesting direction. Given, it'll probably be Marines vs Something, maybe even Marines vs Evil Marines again, but still. Given the timing, Space Wolves vs Orks might be a safe bet, and that'd give them plenty of time to ramp up to a Russ / Gazghkull release to go along with it, but that's just me ponderin'.

By that time, they might be ready to move the plot onwards (like Age of Sigmar did, going from the Realmgate Wars to the Malign Portents), so a new box set could help kick that off.
