The fate of Cygnus VI

So on the back of some discussions with ToD, we're thinking of putting together a 40K campaign of sorts - actually more of a series of linked games in different 40K game settings telling a narrative.
My first idea was this is the First Tyrannic War, the initial invasion of Hive Fleet Behemoth into the Imperium, but if people want to play and use things like Primarus Marines this may need to be adjusted.
My initial idea was something like the below:
Lost Patrol - Yalea Outpost: An overrun outpost on a jungle world sees a desperate band of survivors battling to reach the offworld communications relay station to warn the Imperium of this new Xenos threat.
Shadow War Armageddon - Cygnus III, Desolation Hive: Imperial forces dispatched to investigate labor strikes on a forge world find an unexpected enemy (cult uprising or perhaps tyranid warriors)
Space Hulk - Cygnus III: Imperial forces battle in the maze of the forge world to eliminate the cult
Advanced Space Crusade - Orbit above Cygnus VI: As the main Tyranid hive fleet reaches orbit, boarding torpedoes land marines in a desperate battle to cripple the lead hive ship…
Epic - The invasion of Cygnus VI: The hive fleet falls upon the imperial planet in a massed invasion
40K - the fate of Cygnus VI: The final battle to determine the fate of Cygnus VI!
I was thinking basically playing over a number of Joshin days and each win providing some benefit down the line, either to the next game or the endgame. The really short games, like Lost Patrol or Shadow War might be a best-of-three or something.
Any interest?
