Now I know it is the End of Times.
And man.....I do love me a big, stompy, robotic, gothic monstrosity. Maybe just one as a painting project..... right after I finish the other 5 painting/sculpting projects.....

But we already have plastic sisters.
...Oh, you mean Sisters of
Battle.
Pics of the new Sea Elves are kicking around on BoLS

Seems like AoS is getting all sorts of wierd and wacky armies these days.
As for the new Knight, it's pretty cool. Wonder what the price tag will be.

The sea elves are pretty funky. Flying moray eel riders, a giant flying sea turtle, an octopus with a knife...
The Castelan isn't physically much taller than a regular Knight, although it's a bit bulkier and will probably be more sprue-intensive, which is what really drives pricing. Personally I'd be surprised if it's less than 20,000 yen, but also if it was much more - above that and they might start pricing themselves out of people's pocketbooks. (Ah, who am I kidding?

) I'm probably going to have a really hard time not getting one, even if it won't see much play.

Hmm...dark 'sea' elves. Well, I kind of think it was a cool idea, but I just don't think they pulled it off. It is even getting close to being a little silly. Or is it just me? I know they had flying boats before, but they
were being pulled by giant hawks. I would hope the magic they used to get a turtle to fly doesn't fail mid swim...err...flight!
You know, a table top game set under the sea would be cool though!

Nope, I think they're going for the 'So silly it's awesome' look, but sometimes they don't quite pull it off. Some of the minis are pretty cool though, the guy with the octopus is certainly unique.

Some of the minis are definitely cool and unique individually.

I like the character model but damn that would be a pain to transport, but then again, many of they new detailed and intricate miniatures from GW fall into that category.
Wow, there is an underwater game.

Cool.
