Black Library Lore discussion (Spoilers!)

P.S. BL doesn't translate the same way in my head...

Yeah I always do a double take when I see Warhammer fans referring to Black Library that way.
I assume it is part of the fandom but not in the same ratio as the normal use of that acronym.

So what do you guys think BL stands for?

Having just read the Corax, Master of Mankind and Garro novels in the last 7 days, I'm all filled up on 30K for the time being.
Master of Mankind is pretty interesting as it gives quite a good view of what the Emperor is like, why he does everything and his view of the universe. Has anyone else read it? Any opinions about the big E?

Boys' Love, the ubiquitous manga (etc) genre featuring relationships between male characters produced largely for and by women. Like if you go to a local book store it there's probably a manga section labelled BLコミック.

... I see. That would explain why I can't find any 40K comics in that part of the manga store.

As there are over 100 different uses of the Acronym BL (https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/BL), I'm happy to keep using it for Black Library, especially in a thread about discussing the Black Library series of books. In fact, not having to type Black Library everytime I want to reference Black Library would be very convenient and easily understood in a thread about the Black Library.
